From these pictures, you can see how much she changed just in a few months!
It is also impossible not to compare these pictures with those of her brother, Prince George. He started nursery school in Norfolk at Westacre Montessori.

HOW TO SEND A CHRISTMAS CARD TO THE ROYAL FAMILY + AMAZON MUSIC

Official portraits released by Kensington Palace

It's Christmas time! Would you like to wish Merry Christmas and/or Happy New Year to your favorite royal? You will receive a thank you card in return.
Down below you will find the address.

If you want to send a card to The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Harry and/or Meghan Markle, you will need to send it to Clarence House and NOT to Kensington Palace.
That's because their correspondences with the public are handled by the Correspondence Section at Clarence House (where Prince Charles and Camilla lives, so the address is useful if you want to send a card to them).

If you want to send a card to Queen Elizabeth and/or Prince Philip, you will need to send it to Buckingham Palace.

Last but not least, if you appreciate my work and you want me to improve and develop the blog, you can give me an help.

AMAZON MUSIC

If you live in the U.K., you can sign up for Amazon Prime Music 30-day FREE Trial, an ad-free music streaming and download service with over 40 million songs, clicking the blue banner.

KATE & WILLIAM TOGETHER AT CHILDREN'S GLOBAL MEDIA SUMMIT

On 6th December, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Children's Global Media Summit at the Manchester Central Convention Complex.

The Summit brings together creative, technology innovators, policymakers, executives and thought leaders from around the globe to inform and redesign the future of media for this generation. It also explores the impact that digital technology will have in children's futures.

They first visited the BBC Children's department to see how the BBC runs interactive workshop called "Stepping Out" sessions. The session is a focus group where young people are able to give children's editorial staff and content producers their view of how they respond to new programmes.

Then, the royal couple took part in a feedback session with young children from The Friars Primary School. They have a chance to talk about mental health and how it affects them or how they try to cope with it to help inform TV programming.

At The Children's Global Media Summit met lots of experts who belong to organizations and brands such as ABC, Disney, Endemol Shine, Facebook, Google, Netflix, The Premier League, Zodiak Kids, Minecraft, and many more.

They had a short private meeting related to Cyber Bullying Taskforce to find universal tools for children to report bullying when they see or experience it.

From Prince William's speech: "Parents like Catherine and me are raising the first generation of digitally-immerse children - and this gives us many reasons to be optimistic about the project of technology on childhood.

Kensington Palace via Twitter

We have put the most powerful information technology in human history into the hands of our children - yet we do not yet understand its impact on adults, let alone the very young."

Funny thing. Prince William talked about Prince George and said: "I went to my boy nativity play. It was funny. It was a sheep."

Also, Jack Royston reported that when a crowd member shouted: "Hi, Prince Harry" he replied, "I'm not ginger!" William has a great sense of humor.

FIRST PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT FOR MEGHAN & HARRY IN NOTTINGHAM

Kensington Palace via Twitter

On 1st December, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had their first public engagements as a couple. That MondayPrince Charles announced the engagement of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The couple had a formal photocall in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace and then an interview conducted by BBC presenter Mishal Husain

Kensington Palace via Twitter

The royal couple visited Nottingham, the city linked to the legend of Robin Hood (it's funny, The Duchess of Cambridge had just visited the Robin Hood Primary School!).

They were welcomed by a thousand of people who were waiting for them outside. Meghan was very natural and friendly, shaking hands and holding flowers and cards from the public. She said: "I can't believe it. I've been made so welcome and I can't believe it."

Kensington Palace via Twitter

Kensington Palace said: "Prince Harry is looking forward to introducing Ms. Meghan to a community that has become very special to him."

Anna via Kensington Palace News FB Group

It was freezing in Nottingham that morning (1°C). London was full of snow as well. Anna shared a beautiful picture of The City this week. It was such a Christmas and welcoming atmosphere!

Kensington Palace via Twitter

The visit was focused on raising awareness of HIV/AIDS and preventing youth crime, both causes that Prince Harry is particularly passioned about.

Kensington Palace via Twitter

First, they visited Terrence Higgins Trust, where they met representatives of organizations supporting people living with HIV/AIDS. They said: "In front of the world's media the couple first Royal official engagement will shine a light on people living well with HIV to mark the World AIDS Day in Nottingham." I totally agree.

Kensington Palace via Twitter

1,000 young women are infected with HIV every day. Prince Harry is very active in this field. The day before, he met with a representer of Sentebale, the charity founded by the Prince with Prince Seeiso and which helps those children victims of Botswana and Lesotho's HIV/AIDS epidemic.

Kensington Palace via Twitter

Later, the couple chatted with staff and members of Nottingham Academy about the Full Effect program which is helping prevent young people from turning to violence and crime. Prince Harry had visited the Ransom Campus twice that year.
They said: "We are delighted to welcome Prince Harry to the Ransom Road Campus on Friday and we are thrilled that the Prince will be joined by Ms. Meghan Markle. Pupils and staff look forward to showcasing the community projects our pupils are involved in and congratulating the happy couple."

Kensington Palace via Twitter

The Full Effect program was established by the Prince through The Royal Foundation. The couple spoke to head teachers about the effect the program was having on their school communities.

Then, they dropped in a kickboxing session. Later, they watched students perform a Hip-Opera and met the cast on stage.

THE DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE AT ROBIN HOOD PRIMARY SCHOOL

On 29th November, The Duchess of Cambridge visited Robin Hood Primary School to celebrate 10 years of the Royal Horticultural Society Campaign for School Gardening.

Kensington Palace via Twitter

The Royal Horticultural Society works with children and teachers to bring horticulture to life in schools not only by hosting schools visits to their gardens but also through their national campaign.

As Gert's Royal reminded, earlier this year Catherine said she has started getting Prince George and Princess Charlotte involved with Gardening. Also, a few years ago Prince Charles said he and George planted a tree together at Highgrove and everytime George is over they check to see how much the tree has grown.

Kensington Palace via Twitter

The Duchess visited the Outdoor Learning area, where she joined pupils who were learning how to whittle to make bug homes. These tasks help build skills such as confidence, teamwork, and communication and benefit children's physical and mental well-being.

When the homes are completed, they form part of "Bug-ingham Palace!"

Kensington Palace via Twitter

The Duchess also saw the Sensory Garden, where she got involved in some bulb planting, ready to flower next sping. The pupil and she also planted daffodils (Narcissus 'February Gold') and fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris) bulbs as well.

RHS Campaign via Twitter

Later, The Duchess chatted with Alana Tapsell, the manager of the campaign, about the many benefits of gardening to young people.

Kensington Palace via Twitter

Guess what? There was some cake to celebrate 10 years of the society's campaign that has so far enable 34,000 schools to get involved in gardening. Obviously, Kate cut the cake!
