The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a Queen's Birthday Party held in the gardens of the British Ambassador's residence.
The royal couple met guests from the worlds of business and culture as well as representatives of the British Community in Germany.

The Cambridges arrived in Berlin that morning. During the day, the royal couple had a private lunch with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and visited the Holocaust Musuem and Strassenkinder.

The relationship between the United Kingdom and Germany really matters. It will continue despite Britain's recent decision to leave the European Union. I am confident we shall remain the firmest of friends."
