This morning, on 27th November, The Prince of Wales officially announced that Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle are engaged. The couple became engaged in early November and informed Queen Elizabeth and other close members of the Royal Family.

The wedding will take place in Spring 2018 and further details will be announced in due course. This afternoon the Prince and Meghan will appear for a photo call at Kensington Palace. They will also take part in a broadcast interview that will be aired this evening UK time.
Mr. Thomas Markle and Ms. Doria Ragland said: "We are incredibly happy for Meghan and Harry. Our daughter has always been a kind and loving person. To see her union with Harry, who share the same qualities, is a source of great joy for us as parents. We wish them a lifetime of happiness and are very excited for their future together."
The couple will live in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace.
