According to an article written by Robert Jobson for The Mail on Sunday, Prince Harry's assistants have been told to start planning for his royal wedding with Meghan Markle. Apparently, senior members of the British Royal Family have been asked to look at their diaries to shortlist a series of suitable dates.
The news comes after it was reported that Prince Harry and his girlfriend had a private meeting with The Queen in mid-October.

So, what happens now? First of all, we need to wait for the official announcement. The couple will probably wait until after the celebrations for The Queen's 70th wedding anniversary on November 20. The wedding will probably be celebrated after The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's third child is born (April 2018).
Harry and Meghan can marry at Westminster Abbey (or at St. Paul's Cathedral, if they prefer) as the General Synod Ruling of 2002 now allows divorced people to marry in the Church of England.

Almost a year ago, in November 2016, Kensington Palace confirmed their relationship issuing a statement about the harassment experienced by Meghan and her family. In the statement, the Prince condemned the "smear on a front page of a national newspaper, the racial undertones of comment pieces and the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls and web article comments."
I wrote an article about it last month. The national post went into details and explained why the Prince asked the media to "pause and reflect before any further damage was done."

I particularly enjoyed reading an article written by Georgina Lawton for The Guardian.
"If the rumors of her forthcoming engagement to Prince Harry turn out to be true, it will redefine royalty for a new generation of Brits, because [...] she is also a black, mixed-race woman. A union between her and Prince Harry would be socially momentous for the country, and especially so for us brown-skinned Brits who never saw ourselves reflected in the all-white Palace lineage.
[...] If Meghan does marry Harry, it will destroy the long-held notion that being regal means being white, or that the main link between Africa and Buckingham Palace is one of colonial importance."
Both Princess Diana's sons seem to have followed her most important and caring advise: only do what your heart tells you. Prince William married a 'commoner'. Catherine Middleton will be the first Queen born in a middle-class family. It seems that Prince Harry is going to marry Meghan Markle, an American divorcee from a mixed-race background.
I will finish this short article with Karren Brady's words, that I completely agree with: "People often say the Royal Family needs to modernize or die. In my view, the health of the Royal Family is in really good hands."
